The Blue Sox (14-13 overall) won their fourth straight game 9-2 at Dundas Wednesday night.

Austin got the win with four different pitchers making appearances. Nels Nelson made a comeback appearance when he pitched the first three innings with a limited pitch count. Nelson allowed two hits and an unearned run.

“We knew coming in we’d use some position players on the mound,” Austin’s Casey Toops said. “We wanted to save everybody for Friday’s game against the Greyhounds.”
