Macular Degeneration support group meets
Published 7:01 am Sunday, April 9, 2017
Over the winter the Macular Degeneration support group chooses not to meet here at the Mower County Senior Center because of the weather.
April they start meeting again. If you have this disease or have a loved one with this you may want to join them at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. This month’s special speaker will be Ed Vilt.
Ed has come and spoken a couple of times before and he is a “you don’t want to miss” speaker. Ed was as suffered of Macular Degeneration until he had a surgery for it in California. Now Ed sees great. If you would like to hear more about Ed’s experiences please join us for his presentation. This is free, and open to the public.
You may not be old now, but if you’re lucky, one day you will be. We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and sandwich for 50 cents. Don’t forget Tuesday is hotdish day. We are having hamburger stroganoff for only $2. You are always welcome at the center. See you here.
