Staff members for U.S. First District Rep. Tim Walz will meet with Grand Meadow residents in a roundtable discussion in the second swing of his Southern Minnesota Way of Life Tour at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, at the Grand Meadow Community Center.
Walz, who announced recently he would be running for governor, has been holding recent town hall meetings to listen to constituents’ thoughts and concerns, answer questions, and hear their ideas on how to enhance the lives of southern Minnesotans.
He held a town meeting in Austin on May 11 and also visited Rochester, Worthington, Mankato and Winona in his first swing through the district.
“I am very grateful to the folks who took part in the first swing, and I can’t wait to hear back from my staff about the ideas they gather from First District constituents this time around,” he said.
“Together, we can find common ground on how to best move this country forward while protecting and enriching the way of life we so dearly love here in southern Minnesota.”
