The Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team salvaged a split in a doubleheader at Faribault Thursday. Austin lost the opening game 10-7 and it won the nightcap 5-3.

Faribault committed six errors in the nightcap and Austin’s Luke Hawkshead and Ross Young each had an RBI in the win.

Austin (2-1 overall) lost the first game of the doubleheader when Faribault hit a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning.
