Austin Police issued 20 citations for minor consumption after receiving a suspicious activity call Monday night.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, police responded to the 1200 block of 19th Avenue Southwest at 11:44 p.m. Police found 20 teenagers, 11 males and nine females, all between the ages of 16 and 19, who were consuming or had consumed alcohol.

Police issued 20 minor consumption violation citations and released the teens to their parents/guardians.
