Summer Daze is here at the YMCA as it offers supervised and activity planned summer child care for kids going into kindergarten through seventh grade.
“What a great summer the kids are having so far,” Summer Daze director Julie Kerling said. “As a staff member, I love to hear the kids moving around the building, laughing, talking and being excited about the next activity they are going to do.”
Julie and her staff do an excellent job of coordinating the kids to activities within the building along with field trips close to home or out of town. Julie and her staff give the kids in the Summer Daze Program a variety of activities to be a part of while in their care.
There are 5 Reasons Why Children should experience Summer Daze:
1. Adventure-The YMCA has new adventures for everyone.
2. Experience-Explore fitness, new friendships, field trips and leadership.
3. Personal Growth- Learn new responsibilities and challenges.
4. New Friendships-Amidst the fun of games, friendships form.
5. Memories-Summer Daze is an unforgettable experience.
The kid’s activities are well rounded from physical activity, to social interaction, building self-esteem, daily living skills, but most important to play and be a kid.
