The Austin City Council will award bids for asbestos removal at various building sites during
its meeting on Monday, Aug. 7.

The Council will also hold a public hearing on a tax abatement application from Bigelow & Lennon Construction, LLC, and will recognize Elizabeth Wefel of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities.

Following the regular meeting, the Council will discuss the 13 Hormel Foundation Grant requests for 2018. The Council has been asked to review and rank the requests. The Council will review a draft of the Fox Pointe Addition Development Agreement.

The Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Council chambers in the basement level of City Hall on Monday.

The work session will immediately follow in the conference room across the hall.
