Have you ever thought about being a volunteer trail driver?  If you are interested, you can call the nature center to find out more information on training.  The nature center has two access vehicles used for tours of the center for those that need some assistance in getting out on the trails. There are also senior programs that utilize the vehicles as well as private tours. What a fun way to get outside.

The Nature Center rents canoes and kayaks Monday through Saturday for use on Dobbins Creek to East Side Lake or on the pond at the Center. Rentals will run through Sept. 24 on a first-come, first served basis. There are no reservations. You must be 16 or older to rent the canoes and kayaks. The cost is $10 for up to three hours or purchase a punch card for $25 and receive five rentals for half the cost.
