Bruce Lloyd Wolfgram, 68

At the age of 68, Bruce Lloyd Wolfgram passed away on Aug. 12, 2017, peacefully at his home with family by his side.

He was born on March 30, 1949, to parents Lloyd A. and Joyce E. (Armstrong) Wolfgram in Oelwein, Iowa. Bruce graduated from Red Wing High School in 1968 and Winona State in 1972. On July 30, 1972, Bruce married the love of his life, Marsha Tweeten, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove, Minnesota.

Bruce was the elementary physical education teacher at New Richland-Hartland schools from 1972 to 2007. His career goal was to help his students find and enjoy lifelong fitness activities. He also enjoyed coaching wrestling there.

Bruce enjoyed the outdoors, going hunting and fishing often. He was a muskie fishing guide on Cass Lake during the summer. He played pickle ball and helped establish programs in Bemidji, Minnesota, and Osprey, Florida. He liked going on adventures, exploring new places, eating unique foods, and talking with everyone. He always found the best in everyone.

Survivors include Bruce’s wife of 45 years, Marsha Wolfgram; daughter, Jessica Wolfgram (Roger Moore); granddaughter, June Moore; mother, Joyce Wolfgram; mother and father in-law, Morris T. and Geneva (Berquam) Tweeten; as well as many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Wolfgram.

Funeral services for Bruce L. Wolfgram will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at Grace Lutheran Church, 918 Garfield Ave., Albert Lea, Minnesota. The Rev, Shane Koepke will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Spring Grove, Minnesota, at a later date.
