Police seek female robbery suspects; 4 woman sought in alleged theft

Austin Police are searching for four women that allegedly robbed a man early Thursday morning.

According to Police Chief Brian Krueger, police responded to a robbery call at 1:18 a.m. Thursday at the 400 block of Second Street Southeast.

A man said he met four black women at a local downtown bar and had been buying them drinks all night. After going to several bars, the women invited him back to a
residence for a party.

The man said while at the party, one of the women secured him in a headlock while another stole his wallet.

He told police several hundred dollars were stolen.

The man was intoxicated at the time.

Officers are still trying to identify the women involved.
