The first outing of fall

Fall is coming quickly we leaf peepers are looking forward to some colorful fall travel.
Sept. 27 will be our first outing as we ride a four-deck paddle wheel on the mighty Mississippi. We will depart from Prairie du Chein, Wisconsin for this scenic, narrated tour with live entertainment and dining to please us all. Special dietary lunches will be available.
Sticky rolls and hot coffee will await us as we board. A two-entree meat buffet will be ours to enjoy along with live music and dancing both during the scenic ride, indoors or on the top deck. We have a few openings so call our travel number at 507-438-3946. Our motorcoach will depart at 7 a.m. from Wal-Mart.
Upcoming trips
•Duluth fall leafing trip, Oct. 3 to 5: Currently we are filled, but don’t hesitate to add your name to our waiting list. This trip will include lots of the stops that are familiar in the North Shore area. Their will be a Vista Cruise on Lake Superior, Railroad Museum tour with a steam engine ride taking us to Gooseberry Falls State Park, Glensheen Mansion, Canal Park and Arieal Bridge. Lodging will allow for great Lake Superior view. The trip departs at 7 a.m. as always from south side of Wal-Mart.
•”Joey and Gina’s Wedding,” Oct. 15: You are invited to be the guest of honor at this Italiano wedding farce. You need not bring a wedding gift. You may even have a chance to dance with the bride. This will all take place in the reopening of the beautiful Wisconsin Dells Theater. We will depart at 7 a.m. with a rest stop en route. We are also planning an apple stop in the LaCrosse bluff country. We currently have a few seats available.
•”Miracle of Christmas,” Nov. 2-3: We are jumping ahead to the opening night at another Wisconsin theater. Its a return visit to the Fireside Dinner Theater in Fort Atkinson. “Miracle of Christmas” is a holiday tradition, that is a joy to put into our Christmas schedule. Professional entertainers at this theater continue to highlight their performances. We will also be meeting the cast in this special reception. Sign-ups are coming fast with some seats still available for this overnight trip.
•Nashville and Memphis, Nov. 26 to Dec. 1: We will spend Christmas in Nashville and Memphis and more.
•New Years Eve: We will be at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater for “Sister Act.”
A reminder that travelers signed up for the Sept. 15, 2018, Riverboat Cruise in Europe will have a chance to get together for a meeting and social at 4 p.m. on Sept. 18.
