Austin volleyball team falls to Faribault

The Austin volleyball team was swept by Faribault (10-3 overall, 2-1 Big Nine) by scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-17 on the road Tuesday.
Lauryn Petersen had five kills and five blocks for the Packers (2-11 overall, 0-3 Big Nine).
“We played well against a tough team,” Austin head coach Cindy Owen said. “We never gave up. I’m proud of these girls and their effort tonight.”
