The Southland football team picked up a 27-6 win over Minnesota Valley Lutheran (0-4 overall) on the road Friday night.

Carl Mueller threw for a pair of TDs to Jared Landherr in the win for Southland (2-2 overall), Carter Schmitz had a rushing TD and Ethan Forthun hit a pair of field goals.

“The kids played really well,” Southland head coach Shawn Kennedy said. “Carl threw the ball well and our line did a nice job. It was a nice win.”
