The Austin girls soccer team lost to Mankato East 3-1 on the road Tuesday.

The Packers (4-5-1 overall, 3-4-1 Big Nine) pulled to within 3-1 when Grace Mayer scored off an Erin Bickler corner kick.

The Cougars (7-4-1 overall, 5-2-1 Big Nine) led 2-0 at halftime.

“This just shows us the importance of maintaining focus, home or way,” Austin head coach Jake Levisen said. “I think we just lost focus in this one.”
