Dr. Bonny Kaye Enrico, 70, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away Sept. 11, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Enrico was born Feb. 23, 1947, in Hayfield, Minnesota, to the late David and Joyce (Anderson) Dennis. She attended Hayfield Public Schools until 1964 and graduated from Northfield (Minnesota) High School in 1965 following a family move to that community. She earned an education degree from Mankato State University; taught in the Apple Valley (Minnesota) School District and continued her education earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Enrico began her practice in Bloomington, Minnesota, and later moved to Tennessee where she, along with her husband, Dr. David Enrico, served the Cookeville community until their retirement.
Bonny’s God-given gift was that of a teacher. She continuously shared her outstanding talents in areas of art, music, cooking, sewing, golf and health with her family, friends and patients.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. David R. Enrico of Cookeville; stepson and daughter-in-law, Darren and Cheyenne Enrico; two grandchildren, Kora and Kamdyn of Driggs, Idaho; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Dale and Maryann Dennis of Winona, Minnesota, and Dean and Melanie Dennis of Owatonna, Minnesota; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Eugene Graff of Clear Lake, Iowa; nieces, Amy (Dennis) and Dr. Patrick O’Keefe of Maple Grove, Minnesota, and Dr. Megan (Dennis)and Ryan Ping of Winona; nephews Adam Graff of Sartell, Minnesota, and Justin and Erin Graff of Maple Grove.
A private celebration of life was held in her memory.
