St. John’s Lutheran Church in Austin is looking for gently used coat donations for their second annual winter coat drive.

“There was a generous outpouring from people who gave,” said Joanne Rasmussen, who organized the coat drive. “We are really short
on children’s coats, especially infants to age six.”

Donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and Sunday 10:15 a.m. to noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church (1200 13th Ave. NW).

Oct. 29 is the last day to donate.

Coats will be handed out on Thursday, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m. Coats are available only for individuals who do not own a winter coat.
