The Mower County Historical Society will offer walking tours of its buildings during its final 2017 open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.

Tours will cover about 10 of the society’s buildings, including the one-room school house, the buggies, sleighs and wagons in the Rahilly Building, the Hormel Building, train cars, and the World War II exhibit. Each tour lasts about 90 minutes and includes a fair amount of walking.
