The Blizzard snapped a 1-1 tie and took the lead when Max Sasson scored his second power play goal of the game in the second period. Devon Fields scored the lone goal for the Bruins (0-3-1-2 overall) in the first period.

Alex Schilling had 23 saves in the loss for Austin.
