Bruins pick up first win of the season; Willis hits for 2 in 4-1 win

The Austin Bruins picked up their first win of the season with a 4-1 over the Brookings Blizzard at Riverside Arena.
Austin took a 2-0 lead after one period with goals from from Evan Cholak and Andy Willis just about two minutes a part at 12:54 and 14:48 respectively.
Willis added his second goal of the evening at 16:14 of the second and Xander Lamppa put the cap on the night’s scoring with a goal late in the third period.
Bruins goalie Mads Sogaard made 24 saves on the night, while the defense quashed all eight power plays the Blizzard had.
