BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University freshman Cole Ethen, of Austin, Minnesota, is receiving the Curt and Phyllis Brudos Scholarship and the Sue Mabee Scholarship this academic year.

Ethen, son of Jeff and Sherry Weaver and the late Thomas Ethen, is a 2017 Austin Pacelli High School graduate. He intends to major in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
