Mary Jane Jorgenson, 74

Mary Jane Jorgenson, 74, of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at Sacred Heart Hospice-Austin.

Mary was born Oct. 4, 1943, in Austin, to Vernon and Mildred (Neitzal) Ellison. She grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School.

On Sept. 21, 1968, she was united in marriage to James Jorgenson in Austin. The couple lived in Austin their whole lives and had two children, Gretchen (Tom) Mork and John Jorgenson.

Survivors include her husband, Jim, Austin; daughter, Gretchen (Tom) Mork, Austin; son, John Jorgenson, Austin; the light of her life, her three grandchildren, Cole (Casey Trom) Kroneman, Skylar (Elijah Dahmen) Kroneman, Jarrett Kroneman; brothers, Glenn (Mary) Ellison and Paul (Carol) Ellison; and sisters, Sharon (Richard) Wilkie and Lynette Jagst.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Kathleen Mildenstein and Sharlene Hansen.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Steffes officiating. There will be a wake service on Wednesday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4-7 p.m. and also one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
