Police are seeking information about a burglary on Thursday in which several firearms were stolen.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a call at 9:52 p.m. on Thursday at a residence in the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast. The victim said he was gone for several days and came home to find several firearms and accessories missing. They were:

• a 20-gauge shotgun with brown stock, unknown model, valued at $250;

• a J.C. Higgins model 12-gauge shotgun valued at $250;

• a Thompson/Center model muzzle loader in camouflage color with a Nikon 3-by-9 scope valued at $400;

• a 410 break action wood stock shotgun valued at $250; and

• a Nikon 3-by-12 Monarch rifle scope.

Other items stolen included Craftsman tools, gift cards to Cabela’s, McDonald’s, and American Eagle, miscellaneous prescription medicine, and a package containing ice fishing supplies.

The point of entry appeared to be a bathroom window.

There are no suspects at this time.
