According to the court complaint, an officer was alerted of an assault by a school official on Tuesday. The victim, an eight year-old girl, had bruising on her face, which she said was caused by Nabors, who was known to her. She said she had not told anyone because she was afraid of him.
The victim then told a detective that Nabors had sexually abused her, according to the complaint. She said the abuse had been occurring since she was seven years old.
Police interviewed Nabors, who denied hitting the victim, according to the complaint. The report also states he initially denied sexually assaulting the victim, but then admitted to doing so at least five times, the last time being last week. He said that she was eight years old when it happened and denied assaulting any other young girls.
Nabors was arrested after the interview.
