Youth Fitness Program set to begin at YMCA

As the new year approaches, we at the Y are eager to help all community members, young and old alike, start the year off on with a healthy mindset. While parents can take advantage of our new personal coaching programs, our youth members now have an opportunity to participate in a healthy lifestyle program themselves.

The first session of our new Youth Fitness Program begins January 2nd and goes until March 1st. This program meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:15 p.m. Youth ages 7 to 14 years old will experience fitness fun through a variety of workouts and class types.  Kids can expect to learn new types of exercises, gain confidence in their abilities and build friendships.
