Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team tops Houston

The No. 1 ranked Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team snapped Houston’s 10-game winning streak when it beat the Hurricanes (10-2 overall, 3-2 SEC) 59-28 in Lyle Friday.
Abby Bollingberg had 25 points and eight steals as she went 11-for-13 from the field for LP (11-1 overall, 8-0 SEC).
“Our defensive effort was incredible tonight,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “Houston has been playing great basketball, so for us to hold them to 6 first half points is a testimony to our kids effort and engagement.”
LP led the game by 42 points when it pulled its starters in the second half.
