A 36-year-old Mason City, Iowa, man was injured early Friday when the truck he was driving left Highway 56 near Adams, became airborne, rolled, and hit another unoccupied vehicle.
Erik Christian Pehrson was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus in Rochester following the crash, discovered at 2:17 a.m. Friday.
The Minnesota State Patrol said his injuries were non-life threatening and he was alone in the vehicle.
Pehrson was driving southbound on Highway 56 when his 2013 Ford F-150 pickup left the roadway, entered the east ditch, vaulted off a driveway, hit a tree, rolled and struck an unoccupied 1993 Ford pickup parked in another driveway, according to the report.
Pehrson, the report said, was not wearing a seat belt. No alcohol was involved.
