Local students named to Dean’s List at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota
WINONA — Bennett Kraemer, son of Jerry and Megan Kraemer, and Jacob Kramer, son of Randall and Wendy Kramer, all of Austin, were named to the first semester, 2017-18 dean’s list at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. The list includes 372 undergraduate students who earned a grade point average of 3.60 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Area Residents Make the Dean’s List at Rochester Community and Technical College
ROCHESTER — The following local residents were among more than 1,000 students from Rochester Community and Technical College who made the dean’s list for the fall semester. To qualify, a student must successfully complete 12 or more letter-graded credits, in the same semester, and achieve a grade point average between 3.0 and 4.0.

Deters accepted for admission to Luther College
DECORAH, Iowa – Scot Schaeffer, Luther College vice president for enrollment management, has announced that Brooklyn Deters of Austin, Minnesota, has been accepted for admission for the 2018-19 academic year. Deters has been awarded the Martin Luther Award.
496 Wartburg students named to Fall Term Dean’s List
WAVERLY, IOWA — Wartburg College has recognized 496 students who were named the 2017 Fall Term Dean’s List.
Those named to the list include:
Tyler Amick of Austin
Christopher Dong of Austin
The list honors students who earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or above in at least four course credits during the term. Three of the four course credits have to be graded with a traditional letter grade.
Wartburg students take four courses during fall term, which runs from September through December.
