No injuries were reported after an exterior heating unit caught fire on Thursday at Jones Cabinet.

According to Austin Fire Chief Jim McCoy, the fire department was called at 11:50 a.m. to Jones Cabinets on 10th Street Northeast. The employees had evacuated the building when firefighters arrived.

“They did everything right,” McCoy said.

Firefighters cut off power and gas to the unit to help extinguish the fire. There was no damage to the rest of the building.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
