Go Fishing for a Cure this Saturday; Ice-fishing tournament held on East Side Lake

The popular ice fishing event, Fishing for a Cure, will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday at East Side Lake.
The tournament is part of the Paint the Town Pink ent and the fun activity is geared toward the whole family. Fishermen of all ages will be out on the ice.
Fishing for a Cure has raised almost $87,000 for cancer research at The Hormel Institute since 2009.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the $15 entry fee includes drilled holes, bait, entry into door prizes and meal.
Fishing starts at noon and ends at 2 p.m. A meal, silent and live auctions, raffles and door prizes will take place at the Eagles Club after the tournament.
Everyone — including non-fishermen — is welcome to join in at the Eagles after 2 p.m.
Other events occurring this weekend include the KAUS Radiothon and Pink Rocks! Concert on Friday, and the YMCA 5K “SuperRun, Pink Swing and the Rose Creek PTTP on Saturday.
