Lila Mae Jansen, 86, of Austin, died at St. Mark’s Apartments Monday evening, June 6, 2011.

Lila Mae Crider was born March 6, 1925, in Hammond, Ind. to Edward and Lorene (Rathbun) Crider. Lila has lived in Austin the last ten years of her life and loved the friends she has made while living at St. Mark’s Apartments.

She is survived by daughters, Karen (Marvin) Peters of Austin, Karyl (William) Betsinger of Blaine; three grandchildren, Todd Peters of Fargo, N.D., Tony Betsinger of Blaine, Brian Betsinger, Blaine; four great-grandchildren, Darac Peters, Alecs Peters, Jaryd Peters, Taylor DeGroat; nieces; nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kenneth Fleming.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Worlein Funeral Home in Austin is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.worlein.com. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to St. Marks Apartments.
