The Austin boys swimming and diving team had a strong showing at the Section 1A preliminaries meet in Rochester Wednesday.

Isaac Christopherson took second in the 200-yard freestyle, Logan Kelly took first and Rafe Dolan Peterson took second in the 200-yard individual medley, and Mitchell Mayer took second in the 50-yard freestyle and second in the 100-yard butterfly.

Kelly took first in the 100-breaststroke.

The finals are set to take place in Rochester Friday.
