The Austin wresting team advanced four wrestlers to the semifinals at the Section 1AAA meet in Mayo Civic Center in Rochester Friday.

Austin’s Josh Belden is in the 152-pound semifinals after he picked up a pin over Kolby Olson of Northfield, Kaden Igou is in the 170-pound semifinals after he pinned Tommy Tankhamvang of Rochester Century, Phillip Zynda is in the 195-pound semifinals after he pinned Sam Bakko of Northfield and Isaac Arjes is in the 220-pound finals after he pinned Dedric Burger of Rochester Mayo.

GMLOS has six wrestlers in the Section 1A semifinals. Chris Romero is in the 106-pound semifinals after he picked up two pins, Rece Voigt is in the 113-pound semifinals after he picked up a 6-0 win, Jackson Hale is in the 120-pound semifinals after he won with a pin, Donovan Felten is in the 126-pounds semifinals after he won by pin, Josh Graves in the 152-pound semifinals after he won by pin and picked up a 5-2 win and Clayton Luthe won by a pin to get into the 285-pound semifinals.

The meet will resume in Mayo Civic Center Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Westfield Razorbacks placed five wrestlers in the Section 2A meet in LeSuer-Henderson Friday.

Ethan Arett advanced to the 106-pound semifinals with a pin, Colton Krell advanced to the 160-pound semifinals with pin, Morgen Moreno advanced to 195-pound semifinals with a pin, Dylan Nirk advanced to the 220-pound semifinals with a pin and Mitchell Oswald advanced to the 285-pound semifinals with a pin.
