State swimming: Austin’s Kelly advances to breaststroke finals

The Packers advanced one swimmer to the finals and they advanced athletes to the consolation finals in seven events at the Minnesota Class A state swimming preliminaries in the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis Friday.
Austin freshman Logan Kelly took fifth place in the 100-yard breaststroke, putting himself in position to get on the podium in Saturday’s finals, which begin at 11 a.m.
