Gladys Viola Hanson, 92, of Lyle, Minnesota, died Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus-Rochester.

Today is the greatest day of my life, as I have lived until I was 92. I have told my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren I just about have known and seen everything, but guess what, my greatest surprise in life is when I die, I will meet my Lord and Savior. Nothing will compare to this.

Gladys Hanson

My greatest joys have always been my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. But this said, they have also been my greatest heartaches. But this is life – we live it, but only God can control it and the more I let God control it, the fewer burdens I carry. God gave us such a beautiful world to live in, but because we are still human, we do not follow all the instructions to have a happy life. My greatest prayer for all of you, that we may all share heaven together.

In Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14, “let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment with every secret thing, whether it is good or evil.”

May God surround my family and keep them safe and direct their hearts to totally follow him. This is my greatest prayer.
