Roger Alan Kehret, 75

Roger Alan Kehret, 75, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on April 19, 2018, in Mountain Home.
He was born on July 28, 1942, in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Carl and Matilda Moltz Kehret. He married Lynn Schultz Harrison on June 15, 1990, in Lake City, Minnesota. He was an earth science high school teacher with a bachelor’s of science degree. Roger lived in Mountain Home since 2012, moving from Austin. While living in Minnesota, Roger was a key figure in the development of Mystery Cave in southern Minnesota. He was an author of several books on caving.
Roger is survived by his wife, Lynn Kehret of Mountain Home; two daughters, Shelly (Craig) Bell of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Kathy (John) Hines of Hopkins, Minnesota; three brothers, Vern (Virginia) Kehret of Austin, Bruce (Sue) Kehret of Moses Lake, Washington, and Jerry (Carolyn) Kehret of Norwalk, Iowa: 11 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Peg Kehret of Wilkeson, Washington; and four stepchildren, Tammy Harrison of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kelly Rukavina of Cedar City, Utah, Scott Harrison of Rochester, Minnesota, and Tim Harrison of Lake City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Carl Kehret.
