Krueger has been a dance team member for the last five years and is a member of NHS, Youth Leadership, and the Art Club, where she received the Magnum Opus award in 2017 and is a candidate for 2018 Artist of the Year.

“The experiences I’ve gained through my education thus far is something to be proud of,” she says.  “I feel that I have learned a lot of life skills … that will be very valuable later on in my life.”

Her future plans include attending the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities to major in kinesiology in the hopes of one day becoming a physical therapist.

Each month the Austin Rotary, in conjunction with Austin Public Schools, selects two students who excel in academics, leadership, and/or activities.
