Margaret Helen Ann Bellrichard, 84, of Austin, Minnesota, died Friday evening, May 11, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus-Rochester, Minnesota.

Margaret Helen Ann Olswold was born on Nov. 12, 1933, at home in Lyle, Minnesota, the daughter of Christian and Mina (Gunderson) Olswold. She attended school in Lyle through the third grade and completed her education in Austin, graduating from Austin High School in 1951. Following graduation, Margaret worked at Northwestern National Bank and then as a clerk for the Geo A. Hormel Company. On March 7, 1953, she was united in marriage to Dale Irving Bellrichard in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. The couple made their home and raised their family in Austin. In addition to caring for her five children, Margaret was the office manager for her husband’s business, Bellrichard Oil Company, until 1997. She enjoyed meeting her friends in their coffee clubs and playing games with her children and grandchildren. Dale died on Oct. 22, 2008. Margaret continued to make her home in Austin, entering the Sacred Heart Care Center in 2013. She was a long-time member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her five children, Larry (Cindy) Bellrichard of Austin, Craig (Barb) Bellrichard of Burnsville, Minnesota, Barbara (Mike) Raso of Austin, Karen Bellrichard of Austin and Jason Bellrichard of Austin; eight grandchildren, Kyra (Corey) Bellrichard, Paul (Yun) Bellrichard, Dan (Liza) Bellrichard, Aaron (Hanh) Bellrichard, Katie (Mario) Carter, Matthew Raso, Joseph Raso and Brian (Heather) Bellrichard; nine great-grandchildren, Lulu, Poppy, Solveig, Leo, Mia, Markus, Rylee, Alexis and Alivia; one brother, Carlton “Jim” Olswold of Austin; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale; and two brothers, Roland and Harland Olswold.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
