The No. 2 seeded Southland baseball team beat No. 7 Mabel-Canton (2-11 overall) 12-0 in five innings in a Section 1A East tournament opener in Adams Wednesday.

Parker Brigham had a homer an three RBIs in the win for the Rebels (8-8 overall).

The Rebels will take on No. 3 Schaeffer Academy in Winona State University at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
