Pamela (Pam) Billings, 67, of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday morning, May 30, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus-Rochester.

Pamela Rae Smith was born Nov. 22, 1950, in Austin, the daughter of Robert R. and Lillian V. (Mortenson) Smith. Pam attended Austin High School and worked at Cedar Valley for a short time. She delivered the Mower County Shopper for many years and raised one daughter, Ila.

Survivors include her daughter, Ila Billings of Austin; her sisters, Sharon (Keith) Cooper of Elroy, Wisconsin, Diane (James) Cecil of Austin and Linda Jasinski of Garland, Texas; her beloved cat; and many others who cared about her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian; her sister, Mary Smith; and her brother-in-law, Robert Jasinski.

A committal service will be held at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with the Rev. Karen Behling officiating. Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. and continue until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Nashville Cemetery, rural Truman, Minnesota.
