Autumn Christine Olsen, 29, of Austin pleaded not guilty on Thursday in Mower County District Court to felony first-degree burglary-assault person in building, felony first-degree burglary-occupied dwelling, felony terroristic threats, gross misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault-inflict or attempt bodily harm.

According to court documents, police were called at 10:24 p.m. to a residence in the 1100 block of West Oakland Avenue regarding an assault. A male and female at the residence said that Olsen had entered the home without permission and had assaulted them both. Officers learned Olsen gained entry by allegedly cutting the screen on a northwest window.

The man at the residence claimed Olsen had attempted to enter the residence on May 20 by cutting the screen on the front door.

The woman reported that Olsen had screamed that she was going to kill her, according to court documents.

An officer spoke to Olsen at her residence in the 300 block of First Avenue Northwest. Court documents state that Olsen claimed the man let her into the residence and attacked her, holding her by the throat against the wall, though the officer did not see any injuries to her throat. She also said the man grabbed her arms and showed the officer bruising on her upper right arm.

The officer photographed the injury, but suspected the injury had occurred prior to the incident. Olsen was then arrested.

A review of Olsen’s criminal history shows prior convictions for disorderly conduct, repeatedly using mail to harass, and violating a restraining order.

Olsen’s pre-trial is scheduled for Aug. 31.
