Austin High School Activities Director Lisa Quednow is pleased to announce the hiring of Jacob Nelson as the new head wrestling coach.

Coach Nelson, who has worked with the Packer wrestling program for the last 2 years, is a graduate of Eastview High School where he participated in football, wrestling, and baseball. He has a degree in Health Education from Mayville State in addition to a degree in Physical Education from The University of North Dakota. Jacob currently teaches Health at Austin High School.

Prior to coaching and teaching at Austin High School, Jacob was an assistant wrestling coach at Dickinson High School in North Dakota.
