On Thursday, June 21, Pizza Ranch of Austin (1300 18th Avenue NW, Austin, MN) will donate 10 percent of all sales, as well as 100 percent of tips, to the Cherbourg Unit of Gerard Academy.

Gerard’s Cherbourg Unit serves girls, ages 11 to 15, who are struggling with emotional and behavioral disorders and mental health issues.

The funds raised at Pizza Ranch will allow the girls to participate in off-campus activities that they would normally not have the opportunity to experience. These activities include camping, visiting the Minnesota Zoo and Sea Life, and enjoying the rides at Valley Fair.

For more than 40 years, Gerard Academy has created a nurturing and supportive environment to help thousands of children and families cope with issues such as emotional trauma, anger, and feelings of sadness or anxiety.
