Ramon Thomas Huntley, 53, of Adams, Minnesota, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Marys Campus, Rochester.

Ramon was born Jan. 15, 1965, in Adams, Minnesota, to Donald and Marian (Koenigs) Huntley. He attended the special education program at Southland Schools and attended the Cedar Branch D.A.C program.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Sons of the American Legion. Ramon was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan. He liked to listen to country western music and loved to travel in the car. Ramon especially enjoyed being with all of the people of Adams, Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Huntley; step-father, Fred Lickteig; brother-in-law, Ray Kiefer; and his grandparents.

Ramon is survived by his mother, Marian Huntley Lickteig, Rose Creek, Minnesota; brothers and sisters, David Huntley, Adams, Allan and Mary Huntley, Taopi, Minnesota, Donna and Scott Baxter, Rochester, Minnesota, Mark and JoAnn Huntley, Adams, Ruth and Dennis Kiefer, Racine, Minnesota, Orrin “Butch” and Melinda Huntley, Austin, Minnesota, and Debra Kiefer, Taopi; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fathers Swaminatha Pothireddy and James Seitz officiating. There will be a Rosary at 4 p.m. and a 7 p.m. prayer service on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the Adams Funeral home. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at the Adams Funeral Home and for one hour before the service on Monday at the church. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials.
