The Southland volleyball team opened its season by dropping four matches at the Rochester tournament Saturday.

The Rebels (0-4 overall) lost to Austin 25-23, 25-22, they lost to Lake City 25-10, 25-17, the lost to Chatfield 25-13, 25-7 and they fell to Blooming Prairie 25-12, 25-12.
