The LeRoy-Ostrander football team couldn’t hold on to a late lead as it lost to Mabel-Canton (2-0 overall) 26-20 in overtime on the road Friday.

The Cougars turned a broken play into a long TD run late in the fourth quarter to force OT and they were able to stop the Cards and then score in OT to get the win.

Trey Hungerholt threw TD passes to Riley Olson and Carter Johnson in the loss for LO (1-1 overall) and Olson also ran for a score.
