Tim E. Brady, 59

Tim E. Brady, 59, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at his home in Austin surrounded by his loving family.

Tim Edward Brady was born June 17, 1959 in Austin, the son of Jacob and Carol (Kjome) Brady. He graduated with the Class of 1977 from Austin High School. Tim served his country in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class until his honorable discharge in September of 1979.  On July 21, 1982, Tim married Michelle Low at Queen of Angels in Austin. Their union was blessed with three children. He worked for the Mower County Highway Department for 20 years and the City of Austin for 15 years before retiring after 35 years of loyal service. Tim enjoyed playing, coaching and watching hockey, especially the Minnesota Wild. Tim, along with Michelle, organized the Tyler Brady Memorial Hockey Tournament in memory of their son Tyler. Their efforts allowed many Austin youth the opportunity to participate in hockey, a sport Tim truly enjoyed. Tim’s first grandchild, Ellie, brought great joy to his life. He treasured time with his family and instilled in them the importance of loyalty to family, friends and work.

Tim will be remembered for his infectious personality, his quick-witted humor, a big heart and an ability to make instant friendships.
