The Austin Police Department is advising high school teens to act responsibly during Homecoming Week after homes in Southwest Austin were the targets of paint ball and slime ball pranks.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers on Monday night came across two homes and several vehicles in Southwest Austin that had been targeted with paint balls, slime balls, flour and glitter. It is not yet known if any damage was caused, but Krueger said that any damage could result in criminal charges.

“We were all that age once and we want high schoolers to enjoy Homecoming Week,” Krueger said. “But, they need to act responsibly.”
