Thomas “Tom” Anthony Bridges, 66

Thomas “Tom” Anthony Bridges, 66, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus-Rochester.

Thomas was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on June 5, 1952, to Francis and Frances (Lundell) Bridges. He graduated from Austin High School in 1970, then went on to attend Austin Junior College and Mankato State University. Tom married Deborah Thompson in Austin. The couple later divorced. He worked in the music and entertainment business, Sound Tronics Productions, for over 40 years and “he never missed a show.” On Sept. 18, 1993, Tom married Sharon (Dahl) Camerer in Austin. He was a member of the Bethlehem Free Methodist Church in Austin, where he was their sound person. Tom enjoyed painting, artwork, camping, boating and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Tom’s memory are his wife, Sharon Bridges of Austin; children, Heather Larson (Ronnie Davis) of Waltham, Minnesota, and Jessica Bridges of Montana; stepchildren, Patricia (Albert) Tuley of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, Sarah (Brian) Noma of Bloomington, Minnesota, and Tim Camerer of Austin; four grandchildren, Skyler, Haley, Morgan and Jase; nine step grandchildren, Ashley (Ethan), Stephanie, Jessica (Charlie), Elizabeth, Nathan, Henry, Chloey, Cole and Chase; and sisters, Jane (Ray) Grund of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Mary (Rick) Orpen of St. Peter, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Frances Bridges; grandson, Tristan; and stepmother, Carol.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, at Bethlehem Free Methodist Church in Austin with Pastor Paul Steele officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Austin. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
