The 4th Annual Hunt For A Cure fundraiser will be held by Pheasants Forever at Three Arrows Game Preserve in LeRoy from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 6.

There will be four birds released per participant and participants will be assigned to hunt in a two-hour window. Participants may bring their own dogs or dogs will be provided at no additional charge.

Hunters and others walking must wear blaze orange and they must bring a 12 or 20 gauge shotgun with a working safety and shells.

Hunters of 12 to 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The cost of the benefit is $125 per person and all proceeds will got towards cancer research at The Hormel Institu
