As a teacher I am occasionally faced with a student’s question of “Who is your favorite student?” I feel  the same way about that question as I do about homecoming. I like all the activities that make up the week! I love them for the diversity that we have in the activities and the level of participation that each student brings to the week.

I can’t wait for  Monday when I can wear my pajamas to school. Tuesday’s fun will be seeing pairs of students dress up like twins or showing support for our Minnesota Twins. Tuesday night will be hilarious as we watch the volleyball game with parents, Lyle-Pacelli teachers and student athletes competing against each other.

Wednesday is coronation when we will crown a new king and queen.  But, before they are crowned, we have a lot of fun learning about the homecoming court with a program filled with lots of hijinks.

Thursday brings Class Color Day, which class will be the most colorful of the day? Friday is a fun day when we gather as a unit with Lyle for lunch and a pepfest before the big gathering at the football game that night. Saturday is the closing of Homecoming Week with the high school dance. How do you pick one activity to be your favorite when the week is just so much fun?
